The Garden of Time
"The starting point for the design of this dress was the theme – ‘The Garden of Time’ - specifically, the idea of decay and destruction. Inspired by my research into decaying blooms, the gown I created is adorned with chiffon flowers which unravel into soft ruffles down the length of the bodice and skirt. The blush pink sequins evoke the fading color of a pink rose as it dies, while the edges of the ruffles are left raw and drawing, a nod to the idea of decay. This is a dress that is at once romantic and melancholic."

This dress is adorned with hand shaped embroidered flowers, which unravel into soft ruffles down the length of the dress. The gown is hand draped and embroidered with blush pink sequins, which subtly shimmer and the edges are frayed, evoking wilted flowers.
